The Clorox or Lysol wipes work very well. If you want to clean all your (plastic) toys at once, use water and bleach and soak them. Throw plush ones in the washing machine.

A little bleach in some warm water with some dish soap. Bleach breaks down into a sodium when its exposed to air, so once theyre dry theyre completely and totally safe, without any residue. Once diluted in water its really quite harmless, and it cleans and disinfects like nothing else.
Its not like you're cleaning your kids toys while theyre holding them or something.
All those other "cleaners" have crazy chemicals, even those with "natural" ingredients have NATURAL chemicals in them, still harsh, still some-what toxic.

I use diluted Simple Green and a clean cloth or sponge. For stuffed animals, put them in a pillow case, tie the top up with a hair tie or some string, and wash them in the gentle cycle. Dry them on low.

My sister uses the Clorox spray that they have invented that is safe to use around babies. You can actually spray it right around your baby and it won't hurt him.
