I got a lot of furniture from yardsales and such and then just refinished them myself. That way I got the exact stuff I wanted for way cheap. My son’s crib cost $40 used and after I cleaned it up and touched up the paint it’s perfect. His dresser/changing table (I just used a regular half-size, three-drawer dresser and put a changing pad on top) was a hand-me-down I salvaged from a barn at my grandma’s. A little sanding, some primer and some spray paint, now it’s a three-color, baseball themed gem that would sell for around $150-$200 in a baby boutique. Yardsales and consignment stores are great places for clothes, too. Just be a little picky about what you buy and make sure to wash them before you let them near your baby, but also remember a lot of the clothes are going to be pooped/spit up on and they’re not going to be pristine and beautiful for long. We all want our kids to look like they belong in a baby fashion mag, but seriously when it comes down to it convenience and comfort will win.
If you do not mind second hand stuff, then yard sales are great places to find nice things for a new baby. There are also thrift stores or second hand store, Ebay and Craigslist. If you live in Southeast MO, there is a site called Semo.net. Otherwise if you prefer new stuff, I’d say somewhere like Walmart, Target or Kmart would be cheapest places buying new.
Ebay and thrift stores…. I find the best deals at the end of season sales at Old Navy and Babies R Us maybe you could try that. They sometimes have An additional 50% off all clearance and that is when i stock up. Also i got my son about 50 outfits for $45 at Kmart the other day because they had take an additional 50% off clearance so check for those sales!! GOOD LUCK!
i have a 3month old and i decorated her room from yard sales, garage sales and alot of clothes from hand me downs. you can get alot of new clothes by carters really cheap at costco, mervyns, and walmart.
Another wise smart move for online gamers is live casino action including Roulette, Blackjack, Baccarat and UK Bingo for 24/7 live dealers. Plus you can all easily learn how to backgammon and play to win this historic games.
